Description

Sirens are generally used to alert a community, plant/site workers, tourists of a threat or danger. 

Typical situations are: 

• For a city or town, to alert the community of some danger
• In a large shopping mall or center, to alert and advise the shoppers
• In schools and universities sports centers camping sites
• In a city by the sea, to alert of a tsunami
• In a chemical plant or refinery, the need to evacuate or take cover
• For a military establishment, the siren is used to signal hazards
• Flooding alarm after heavy tropical rain
