THE CONVENTIONAL SYSTEM

From control panels through to manual call points, detectors, bells, door releases and sounders, Gent by Honeywell provides a cost effective conventional fire detection system scalable for sites of all types.

The Conventional Fire Alarm System is composed of:

Conventional Detectors :

• Dust tolerant optical chamber design 
• Standard base with remote LED output 
• Single, multi-function LED indicator 
• Exist in 3 models: 
  1. Photo-thermal detector 
  2. Photoelectric smoke detector 
  3. Fixed temperature thermal detector 

Rate Of Rise Heat / Fixed Temperature Heat Detectors :

• Uses a state of the art heat element 
• Combined with an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) to provide quick and accurate detection of fires 
• Incorporates both rate of rise & static elements 
• Is suitable for all areas where the ambient conditions do not normally exhibit rapid changes in temperature. 

Bell 

• An electric bell for a wide range of uses 
• Metal casing available in red or grey finish 
• Suitable for semi flush or surface mounting 

THE ADDRESSABLE SYSTEM

The addressable fire alarm system includes the following:

• All devices on a common 2 x 1.5mm circuit 
• 200 devices per loop 
• 2 kilometers loop length
• Loop Powered Sounders. 
• Flexible architecture allows spurs

• Up to 200 devices on each loop 
• Options include a full range of sensors, electronic speech sounders, repeat panels, interfaces & manual call points.
