Product Description

Protect your area from potential damage caused by lightning strikes, learn about the surge arrester and an Early Streamer Emission (ESE).

Do you know if you need a surge arrester?

If you are not sure if you need to install lightning protection, our engineers can assess your asset and location and advise you on the best system (if any) for your safety and the safety of your visitors and occupants.

How does an Early Streamer Emission (ESE) work?

The way a lightning arrester operates is by attracting close by lightning in order to become the point of discharge for the lightning bolt. Thus, through this procedure and your earthing or grounding system, the lightning arrester can protect its installation site as well as the surrounding area. By managing the flow of the electricity discharge, you avoid any damage that would have otherwise taken place.

Our engineers can assess your site and design a system suited for your risk level, the area you wish to cover. They would also study the ground to ensure safe grounding and an overall effective system for your protection.

Our lightning arresters Lightning Protection Star are made in France, and provide many benefits, to name a few:

  • Respect the environment
  • Low carbon balance
  • Recyclable material

To ensure the most effective placement of air terminations on the structure; down conductors are positioned to provide the most direct path from the air termination to a low impedance grounding system. This provides safe and effective dissipation of the lightning impulse. Equipotential bonding of all circuits and conductors is necessary to reduce ground potential differences and to limit equipotential damage.
